On instruction from a Danish renewable energy company, Verdo Renewables, PVP obtained change of use and planning permission for this 100,000 sq ft of storage space.

The site consisted of two 50 sq ft storage units which were converted into a single unit, wood pellet manufacturing plant.

As main contractor, PVP executed all civil works and co-ordinated electrical and mechanical engineering contractors on this £7million project, creating what was, at the time, one of the largest bio-fuel plants in the United Kingdom.
